About Me

William:

Born and raised as a Navy Brat in San Diego, California, William S. Major's upbringing was nurturing, with an emphasis on Academics and forging a strong work ethic. Raised by two socio-politically aware parents who constantly fed him as well as his brother and his two sisters a steady diet of politics, art, religion, science and music. William started writing at 13 as a hobby. As an admirer of Cinema, William went to school for Television and Film at San Diego City College in 1990. Later, he published an entertainment magazine in Northern California from 2002 through 2006, but his passion had always been film. William started studying screenwriting in 2009 and started writing with a passion. Alongside his writing partner Shaun Davis, William S. Major has written a number of award winning screenplays and several novels.

Shaun: 

Molded by his small, California hometown and all the opportunity that it offered — none — Shaun’s passion for writing spawned from a desire to entertain — himself, first and foremost.. After accumulating a diverse and extensive body of work at The University of Self Taught, he and his colleague William founded Davis-Major productions, where he is currently working as a content creator. Coming from the depths of poverty and government cheese, he works to add this unique perspective to his projects without the plastic aftertaste. Shaun was first published as an amateur poet in 1999 twice for his separate works. This passion for writing was passed down to him from his mother who wrote countless poems to express her journey. Shaun took these lessons and began writing screenplays and novels in 2009, and has already won awards for 2 of his works.
